If you're looking for a cheap, yet quality probiotic for digestion, boosting your immune system, helping with joint pain and inflammation. Well look no further than PB 8 Probiotic Immune Support on Amazon. Prices will fluctuate, but usually this probiotic goes for around $12 on Amazon, sometimes even cheaper. At the health food store like Better Health, Whole Foods, Vitamin Shoppe, or GNC. This particular brand of probiotic will go for $30, pretty damn amazing what you can get probiotics these days for on Amazon, this is a complete steal.

At 10 billion CFU, 10 probiotic strains per capsule, you get a very strong probiotic for this cheap price, it's honestly the best cheap probiotic I've found online and brick mortar stores as well. Walmart will have some good deals occasionally, but nothing as rock bottom as this. You get a quality probiotic for less than half the price.

I've been using this particular probiotic in collaboration with my antibiotics while dealing with Lyme Disease these past couple of years. I of course space it out like 4-5 hours to taking my antibiotic, it's a must if you want to keep a healthy gut and keep C-Diff at bay while treating antibiotic resistant infections like borreliosis.

I used to use Solaray Multidophilus 12, which was also a great probiotic for the price. But it now has Inulin in it, which I have a pretty bad reaction too. When you go to Amazon, you'll see the bottle has the old sticker on it, why Amazon hasn't changed the photo I don't know, so be careful. But the new one they're selling has Inulin and for me, Inulin causes extreme headaches and dizzy spells. This is a new prebiotic that a lot of the health food companies are putting in their probiotics, but for some people, especially people with bad diseases and disorders, this particular prebiotic may cause them more harm then good. The headaches I got from Inulin were painful! So be careful!

Luckily the PB8 Immune Support version I picked by Nutrition Now doesn't have it, however their tradition version does, on the flip side of that, they also carry a Vegetarian version that doesn't have it either. I love nutrition companies that provide a variety of options for their consumers with allergies.

Depending how disease or disorder you're treating, if you plan on just taking it for digestion, 1 pill a day would be plenty enough. But for those that have Lyme or dealing with some of the common digestive diseases of modern day like Chrons or Ulcerative Colitis, I would recommend up to 4-5 a day, that's what I take.

I used to take this probiotic with a quality brand of yogurt by Nancy's. But Kroger stopped carrying it, guess because people weren't buying it, I think I was the only one. Pretty sad, since Nancy's was a yogurt that had up to 15 different strains, billions of live cultures, and no added sugar. It's obvious that the people I see in the daily grocery store don't know what's healthy, because if they did, Kroger would of never stopped selling this product and people wouldn't be 100 pound over weight. Sorry to be harsh, but the yogurt that most grocery stores carry are garbage, they're high in sugar and don't carry multiple strains of bacteria.

The point I'm getting at, you really don't have to worry about sugar or getting in your daily probiotics if you just take this pill instead. I assume eating that Nancy's Yogurt, I was still getting my share of lactose that I don't really need. All that sugar with time, just keeps the weight on. A good probiotic pill, taken right after breakfast, lunch or dinner can work just as good as yogurt, if not a lot better!

As I hinted to the benefits above, there's so many benefits of taking probiotics. It helps with digestion, keep other bad bacteria's in check while taking antibiotics. Soothes arthritic pain, gives you energy, but the biggest one I'm quite impressed with is boosting your immune system. Everyone can't go without doing this every so often, it's a must. It's said that up to 80% of your immune system lies in your gut, which is amazing! It's like we have our own little ecosystem in our body. Another outstanding fact, the human body contains trillions of microorganisms, outnumbering human cells by 10 to 1. So that tells you something!

Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed this small little writeup on a cheap reliable probiotic... I think a lot of people still buy their probiotics at the store, aren't aware that you no longer have to worry about probiotics being refrigerated as long as the company you buy from, seals the bottle right and provides a nice of piece of cotton, and quality prebiotic in the capsule! I honestly still put my probiotic in the refrigerator when it arrives just as a precaution, but buying from an online store like Amazon can help you save so much money in the long run!
