Soylent, Bertrand or should you ever eat again?steemCreated with Sketch.

As a Student I naturally don't have a lot of Money, but healthy Nutrition is still important right?
One might say "healthy Nutrition isn't expensive, what are you talking about?" and that's true. But Money isn't my only Problem. Time is just as rare and healthy Nutrition, especially on a Budget is very time consuming.
The solution might be called Soylent and is a drink that is supposed to provide you with everything your Body needs. As a programmer I was naturally intrigued when I heard about this (efficiency and stuff). Sadly you can't buy soylent in Germany, so no slimy full Nutrition for me...
But there are alternatives and one is called Bertrand. It's the same concept, only this is 100% ecological yay! and it Comes from my hometown. double yay!
It tastes wired at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly and now i think it tastes pretty good. Also the amount of time I am saving is amazing. So is it all sunshine?
Probably not... There are no Long term studies on the effects this can have on your Body and some go as far as saying you might loose your teeth, gross!
Another Thing to consider is socializing. When you eat, you often socialize and when you don't eat anymore, well you get the Point...

My first conclusion to the Topic is that I think it's pretty awesome, but maybe one should not go all in with it. Also when your friends ask you out for dinner you really don't want to reply "Nah, I can't, I got my slimy drinks.", do you?

Hi, thanks for the vote!
But sorry, I'm into not "trading" upvotes or anything :)
Still interesting article you have there

Well I don't think I could consume anything with soylent in the name lol
Look up an old movie named Soylent Green. O.o
Also I been reading about problems with Soylent but not the teeth falling out.
You should be careful about regular long term use and use it only when it is impossible for you to have good balance meal.

Yeah, as I said, don't go all in :D
I think the Name Kind of Comes from the movie doesn't it?

According to Soylent the name is from it's primary ingredient Soy
