Brilliant Detective Work By The Actual Perpetrator...#sarcasm

Today's workout was a bit delayed but happened nonetheless. As they say showing up is half the battle.

As for the other half it was interrupted by a cramp...a brain cramp by me.

As I was leaving the barbell rack after finishing the overhead press, I was catching my breath getting ready to transition to the pull up bar using the dip belt. Well, I found my dip belt to NOT be in my gym bag. Say what??

My first thought that my dip belt was ripped off the last time I came in on Monday. Even though I did use it that day for my triceps I had brought it with me to the gym. Either way I could not do my weighted pull ups like normal, so instead I just did straight pull ups.

Sooo, I finished my workout, went to the locker room to shower and dress and then the thought occurred to me to MAYBE check with lost and found at the front desk.

Which I did and there it was. Tada!

I must have left it behind on Monday and it was found some time after I left. Duh. :)

Anyway, today's numbers...

front squat - 10x25 5x45 5x95 3x115 2x125 2x135 5x150 5x150 5x155 4x135

Not a new mark here, but I did bump the weight up on my 3 main sets from the last session. My form was solid, but I was gassed after this one.

overhead press - 5x45 2x95 2x105 5x117.5 5x117.5 5x118.7 4x105

The 118.7 is a new mark, but I only did on the last of the 3 main sets. Next I will shoot for all 3 sets at that mark. Form was good and zero pain in my lower back.

pull ups - 10,10,8

No belt or extra weight here. Lost and found was later.

walking barbell lunges - 3x16x100

Holy cow this one wore me out. The 100 lbs was the highest I've done this at and I felt every lunge. Brutal man.

That's all for now, thanks for reading.
