THE DISEASES ARE WHERE LESS WE EXPECT
Well, although becoming immune to diseases is still something unattainable for science, there are many things we can do to avoid catching the diseases that other people bring with them.
One of the main things we can do is: WASH OURSELVES
HANDS; Even if it sounds repeated or outdated, washing your hands is something so important for our health that we should never tire of repeating it. If we wash our hands every time we have contact with a highly polluting agent (meaning "highly polluting" agent any object that may have bacteria or microbes with it, in this case I will refer to some very specific so that they have an idea of the importance of washing hands, it's about: the cell phone, the control of the TV, the wallet and the toilet).
If I ask you to read this post, which of these objects do you think has more bacteria: the cell phone, the wallet or the toilet bowl? What would you respond?
Surely you thought about the toilet bowl, followed by the cell phone and finally the wallet, but, to your surprise, studies have already shown that the three have approximately the same amount of bacteria, what do you think? Can you imagine that to attend a call you have to put your face in the pot, or that to look for money or to use your credit card you have to put your hand inside your toilet? Ummm ... it does not seem like a very nice idea, right?
The truth is that, although it seems somewhat exaggerated, it is totally true, and that is why we must wash our hands after coming into contact with these agents "highly polluting", and do not believe that not to mention it remains outside of this group, on the contrary, the control of our TV also has a lot of bacteria, even some can be found in wastewater. How are you?
It is important that we know this, then, how many parents allow their children of just months of birth to play with the control of the TV? Think of the harm you can be doing to your children by allowing them to do these things. And this is just to mention just four, only four things that we commonly use, imagine then if we start to delve into many other things like the comb we use, or the computer mouse, even the eyebrow clamp ...
I have always been in favor of a good image helps people to get the idea of what they want to convey, but this time, I prefer not to terrorize them with images that show everything that can cause some of the bacteria housed in our articles of daily use, at least this time; instead, I want to encourage you to take your personal hygiene very seriously, especially with regards to hand washing.
Another important aspect is knowing how to wash your hands, many people think that washing their hands is just a matter of wetting them and running off the water, and that's it. But this is not the case, then, washing your hands is a little more extensive than just getting your hands wet. To wash our hands we must obviously wet and soaping both internally and externally, we must also pay special attention to the folds that are between the fingers and under the nails, it is a bit laborious but remember that our health is at stake. It is generally recommended to wash the arms at the height of the elbows when we wash our hands to avoid contaminating food or whatever we are going to touch or use. We must carry out this process for at least two minutes to reduce as much as possible the bacteria that are lodged in our hands. After lathering our hands thoroughly, we should rinse them with plenty of water and dry them well with a clean cloth or towel, it is preferable to have a towel for that exclusive use.
Now, yes, our hands are clean and we can eat quietly.
But we know that life is not perfect, so at some point we will not be able to do all this procedure to be able to eat, so one recommendation is that they always carry with them some antibacterial gel and a handkerchief that they can use in case of emergency. , yes, remember to constantly wash said handkerchief to avoid the accumulation of bacteria in it. It is also important to know that, when going to the bathroom in a mall or any other place away from home, avoid at all costs to touch the toilet seat or lever to lower it, it is preferable to devise and lower the lever with the feet (although it sounds ridiculous is the best we can and should do), so we will not take anything from what is lodged there.
Similarly, we must clean our cell phone regularly with a little alcohol, to eliminate the waste we are leaving there every day, this is a very important point, since many people eat and handle the cell simultaneously, and that is something that we must avoid, for two very important reasons, the first is because they take care of their health and the second is because they extend the useful life of the artifact, remember that all the food and fat remains and that they accumulate inside the cell phone can cause irreparable damage.
Last, but not least, is the cleaning of our wallet or purse, this is a place where, as in the other cases, many bacteria and microorganisms that can affect us. We must keep the place where we keep our documents clean, not only for the good look they can give, but also because sometimes it seems that we forget all the places where a ticket passes; so many bacteria, fungi, microbes ... that travel in them, and we quietly take it and pay for the empanada the cachito or the little cake that we are going to eat and then we suck our fingers without realizing the atrocity that we are committing by swallowing all those things that were on that ticket; Then we get sick and say that the food fell badly, but please, we are killing ourselves and it seems that we do it in a premeditated way. Sure many will read this and say it is not true because they have never done anything of what I mentioned here, but it is also certain that others will read it and remember all the times they went to the bathroom in the mall and then, without washing well hands, went to eat ice cream, or suddenly remember the times they left their children playing with the control of the TV, or the time they ate and texted at the same time.
It is not about judgments or reproaches, because I am nobody to judge them and I have also been involved in the things that I encourage you not to do today, but if it is to raise awareness my friends, it is enough to do what is wrong just because we do not think it's that bad. Health is a treasure that we must value and all the more now that medicines are so expensive. That is why my reflection for you is that "we must take care of ourselves and teach our people to take care of themselves" (original phrase of @diegombb).
In the same order of ideas, I encourage you to continue publishing things that are of benefit to the Steemian community, whenever we go to publish something we should try to leave some teaching so that those who visit our blog benefit from learning new and good things.
