One of the biggest mistakes people make is that sleep times are preferred at the wrong time. Nowadays, when we think of business, school and social life, people generally do not sleep before 11 and try to get up at 6 and spend the day with about 7 hours of sleep. Especially most young people are late to spend the night watching television, playing computer games, chatting with friends. There are many wisdoms in the creation of the day and the night when we look at Islam. It is very important to find strength, power to resume life in worship in the presence of God. It is also necessary to start work and school life early in the morning. In this regard, the 47th verse of the Qur'an al-Furkan shows that day and night for rest are created for work and sustenance.
When we look at the Hadiths (Muhammad's words) he often talk about the harms of excess and wrong time sleep. For example, it was emphasized that morning sleepiness prevented people from being well-fed and that people who sleep well would be poor in the world and in the Hereafter. At the same time morning sleep is also preventing spiritual gains. In another example, it is said that excessive sleep will cause forgetfulness, back and back pain. As a result, the Hadith-i Sharifs show that wrong-time sleeping causes cognitive, mental and physical discomfort.
Scientifically, when we look at the subject, people release certain hormones at certain times, depending on their biological rhythms. Due to these hormones and different stimuli, factors such as heat and blood pressure in the body change during the day. For example, the hormone melatonin, which regulates our psychological state and allows us to reach sleep, starts to release at 6 pm, reaches the maximum level between 2 am and 3 pm, and goes down to the minimum level at 6.30. Therefore, in order to benefit from the highest level of melatonin hormone, you have to sleep at 21.00 and get off at 03.00. As a result, the release times of sunlight and melatonin are complementary. It is also necessary to wake up from 03.00 to 04.00 every day, to regulate the psychological state of the person, to increase the resistance of the body against harmful microorganisms, to secrete sex hormones. As another example, we can give growth hormone. Growth hormone reaches the highest level at 24.00 hrs. At this time, adults and especially children must be asleep. Growth hormone, especially children, is the cause of the increase of protein production and muscle tissue development. Another reason is that growth hormone stimulates cell proliferation and development, thus allowing the whole body to grow.
The subject that provides us to understand another precious importance of sleeping at the right moment is the body heat. In humans, body temperature ranges from 36.5 to 37. This heat differs from day to day at various times. Body temperature starts falling from 16.00 hours, to the lowest level between 01.00 and 04.00. At 06.00, they start to rise, the lowest is 36.5 and the highest is 37. One of the things that cause me to fall asleep is when the body warms up. At the beginning of the causes of bringing sleep, body temperature has fallen. It has been seen that someone who sleeps on the light of the scientific lecture has slept as much as if he did not receive any stimulation. This shows us that the body can not resist sleep at low temperatures. As a result, it can be said that sleep need and desire are closely related to body temperature.
