OK. Thanks. I lived in Ontario most of my life. But New Brunswick is where I'm located now. It is very similar. The Plants along the ocean shoreline are not in Ontario as far as I know. There are a handful that have a long tradition here among the Acadians and First Nations people and are still much used today. Such as Samphire Greens.
I am originally from the Maritimes and truly miss my dulce and seaweed. Happy Steemit Journey. Looking forward to more of your posts.
I bought some dulse when we first moved here. There are a couple other beach plants that are popular vegetables among the locals. Maybe you remember them? I noticed a nice patch of nettles coming up a few weeks back. Maybe I'll check on it but it is probably too old by now. Thanks, I'll follow you.
