Bananas and their irreplaceable role in the brain. That's why you should consume it every day ...!

Bananas are rich in potassium, which helps in the transmission of neuronal messages. They may be the world's most favorite food for the brain. Through their constituent elements bananas affect the brain in improving behavior and regulation of ores, as well as in cognitive functions such as concentration and memory. According to the US Department of Agriculture, an average size banana contains 0.46 mg of vitamin B6, 422 mg of potassium, 32 mg of magnesium, 29 mg of carbohydrate and 3.1 grams of fiber.

One of the most important influences of bananas in the brain is the regulation of the emotional state. Their ingredients stimulate the brain to produce chemicals that bring a better mental state of mind. On the one hand, they are rich in vitamin B6 and carbohydrates, which help the brain in the production of neurochemicals, and on the other hand contain the essential tryptophan and tyrosine amino acids, which are precursors of serotonin and tomato, regulatory neurotransmitters the state of mental health. Serotonin and dopamine play a key role in a variety of nerve functions, preventing depression and increasing feelings of happiness and satisfaction. Another "happy" banana ingredient is also magnesium, which causes the brain to "feel" less stress.

Cognitive Functions

Banana ingredients also help in improving cognitive functions, such as concentration and memory. Bananas contain a high potassium content, which helps in delivering oxygen to the brain, keeping the mind healthy. Potassium affects normal electrical activity between nerve cells in the brain. On the other hand, magnesium as an important element in bananas reduces amonium levels in the brain by improving the ability to concentrate. Bananas reduce the risk of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease being affected.

Bananas also make a big contribution to reducing appetite, which makes them very popular in diet programs. They are rich in carbohydrates and fiber, giving you the right amount of them daily and preventing your weight gain. On the other hand, the addition of serotonin, which acts directly in the appetite center in the hypothalamus, causes your appetite to be reduced. The presence of fiber in bananas and in other vegetables or fruits, stretches the intestinal wall leading to the production of gastrointestinal hormones, which act on the brain by curbing your appetite and helping you in weight loss.
