Sperm donation when young

in #health7 years ago

Only when the "big family" reunited, this man realized the special thing in the children born from his donated sperm, which again once again affirmed "the power of genetics" .
Having a child and becoming a parent is something that many people desire and desire because of the fact that many couples are having problems so they can not have children and are forced to rely on the help of medicine. such as receiving donor sperm and fertilization in vitro. This option is also risky but with the expectation of having children many people are willing to accept.

Sperm donors often will not see their children permanently, because all the information of the two parties are kept secret. But to Todd Whitehurst, 49, Americans are all the more surprising.

Mr. Todd when he was young.
In 1998, Todd was a 21-year-old boy. After reading a sperm donation ad on Stanford University's Web site, he came up with the idea that no one would dare to do so. For the next four years, Todd regularly donated sperm regularly at the local sperm bank.

The 21-year-old was determined to make many people surprised.

During that time, Todd donated a total of 400 times, which is equivalent to giving him 100 times a year, averaging about three days a year. Each sperm donor can produce 24 standard sperm donors. If counted as such, Todd donated a total of 9,600 sperm donuts, numbers startled many.

When doing this, Todd simply thinks that his actions may help many infertile people want to have children. When donating sperm, Todd had to sign an agreement with the bank, using an "alias" to donate sperm. Families receiving sperm also only know information such as age, nationality, place of birth.

That's why Todd never thought of seeing, or meeting his children directly. Yet this surprise came to this man as a miracle miracle.

According to CBS, 20-year-old Sarah Malley accidentally met Jennn and learned they were sisters. Sarah then decides to look for her father through a website called the Donor Sibling Register, founded by Wendy Kramer, to help children who want to find their father by combining the unique ID number of the donor.

Thanks to this website, Todd met his children, who then knew he had 22 children.

After receiving the information and address of his children, Todd decided to let them meet. And a meeting at Sea-Tac Airport, Washington, USA, between a father and 22 children from all over has become extremely special.
The scene at the airport that day surprised many of these kids with Todd's dominant genre, like Dad and the like. Without knowing the story, many will mistakenly think that this is a real family.
