My wife Sarah suffered a massive left brain stroke in August of 2015 while on vacation in Oahu Hawaii. She spent five days there before she was stable enough to travel home.

After arriving back home Sarah was admitted back into the hospital for almost a week before being released into an in-house treatment center that specialized in neurological injuries.

Sarah spent a month there learning how to walk and speak again. This was accomplished by rigorous therapy that included speech, physical, and occupational types of therapy. Her left brain stroke left her right side completely useless as well as her speech reduced to simple sounds with no vocabulary at all.

When she was released from this facility she was scheduled to continue speech, physical, and occupational therapies for another six months going twice a week at first then once a week near the end.

All this hospitalization and therapy up to this point was paid for with our insurance that involved co-pays and high deductibles. Sarah did recover minor speech abilities and was able to move her right hip which allowed her to walk with a walker, then a cane.

For the next level of improvement, we needed help from a government agency to fund Sarah's advanced therapy so she may someday go back to work.

Sarah was working as a Licenced Professional Counselor at a local college before her stroke, so her ability to speak and think clearly is paramount to her returning back to work.

A year had passed and with the help of our state, Sarah was again back into a better in-house rehabilitation center for advanced speech, physical and occupational therapy; this time for two months.

During my visits with her and observing her treatment schedule I was aware that everything they were doing was the same thing that all the previous therapist had done.

Upon her return, I noticed very little improvements for the two months that she was away. None of the therapists that was treating Sarah did anything different.

None could think outside of the box until six more months have passed and Sarah discovered Dr. Tom Balchin.

Almost two years since Sarah had her stroke and we finally found a doctor with a stroke specific therapy regimen. Unfortunately, he is located in London England so our only option was to purchase his book ‘The Successful Stroke Survivor’ by Dr. Tom Balchin.

We found it so helpful that we purchased his DVD series 'The Successful Stroke Survivor' DVD set. This is simply the best stroke recovery system available and can be purchased here: http://arni.uk.com/products/.

These DVDs will come with the European format of PAL, so you will need a region free DVD player or some way to convert them to the North American format of NTSC.

Dr. Tom Balchin's therapy is nothing like the therapy we have encountered previously. This should have been done as soon as Sarah was released from the hospital here at home but we knew nothing about it.

If you had a stroke or know someone who has, do yourself a favor and get this DVD series immediately. We wasted so much time and money on convention therapy and all we really got was a good stretch of her affected muscles and elementary school reading material homework regimen.

We are not affiliated with Dr. Tom Balchin or the ARNI Institute but we do realize how much it has helped in such a brief period of time.

I am sharing this with you to help you to recover faster, sooner, and at a greatly reduced cost. Good luck with your recovery and please realize that neurological damage takes a very long time to recover from, so please be patient with yourself.
