Being fit is also about mental health
Good morning on gloomy Monday, as well as my thoughts. Today I would like to raise a topic that is still taboo. We are ashamed to talk about it because we are afraid that people will treat us like crazy. Researches show that an increasing number of people develop depression, which, if left untreated, can even lead to death.
Living in constant stress, the pursuit of money, the loss of a loved one, illness, financial problems - these and many other factors can cause us a low mood, which, when prolonged, turns into depression.
You will ask why I write about it? Well, for a long time, I suspected that this problem concerns me, and I was not wrong. It is hard to live feeling constant sadness, indifference, lack of desire for anything. It is hard to live pretending to be happy behind the façade of a fake smile when you feel empty inside. It is hard to live when you fail or hurting your loved ones. That's why I decided to fight for myself. My first therapy with a psychologist helped me a lot, but I stopped it too quickly. Soon I will sit in the psychologist's office again, and I believe that I will be able to overcome this witch depression.
And for people who fight with the low mood I recommend:
- good training,
- walks,
- conversations with friends,
- healthy food,
And if that doesn't help, don't be afraid to ask specialists for help. It's no shame to fight for yourself.
