RE: INTERMITTENT FASTING explained

in #health6 years ago

Nice article! Insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes are huge problems as we speak. It's especially worrisome to see children having symptoms of type 2 diabetes. Moreover, type 2 diabetes is becoming so commonplace that a lot of people aren't taking it seriously... However, intermittent fasting is one good way to break bad old habit, just like you did with night snacking, that's wonderful for you! 👍

It's true, parents bad habits are infiltrating young kids even now. It's pretty sad, I mean I have 4 kids and we are damn near military on what they are allowed to eat. Of course they get treats but they don't just eat whatever they want whenever they want it's guided heavily.

You're doing a huge favor to your children, since bad ingrained eating habits learned from childhood are hard to change later on.

Thanks, I'm literally a product of poor choices my parents made with my nutrition and health, I was 120lbs + by grade 6 and struggled with weight for many years. I vowed to never do that to my kids, and to turn my own life around. I believe that it has been the cause of my ongoing issues with hormone inadequacies as an adult male but I'm working on that too! We can be the change that makes the world a better place for our loved ones!

I love your attitude, keep up the great work you're doing both for you and your family! :)
