Epilepsy is central nervous system disorder in which nerve cell activities in the brain become disrupted causing seizures or periodof unusual behaviour,sensation andsometimes loss of consciousness. it is common in infant, child hood and adolesent. heredity, auto immune disorder[ cerebra vasculitis],cerebral oedema[venticula obstruction], cerebra trauma like accident and birth injury[forceps delivery], hyper pyerxia and infections are the causes of epilepsy. we have over 40 types of epilepsy. some examples iincudes tonic clonic syndrome, status epileptiicus, absence seizure,aural, autonomiic seizure.
