Have you ever stopped to ask yourself whether or not the personal care products that you use daily--shampoos, conditioners, soaps, body washes, hair styling products, toothpastes, deodorants, lotions, creams, and cosmetics--are actually free of toxic chemicals, or may be the reason why you suffer from adrenal fatigue or irregular hormone production?

Well it turns out that a majority of the products offered on the market and present in our own homes contain many harmful chemicals and toxins considered to be carcinogenic(cancer causing) that are detrimental to our health. A few of these toxic chemicals are:

  • Parabens.
  • Synthetic colors.
  • Fragrance.
  • Phthalates.
  • Triclosan.
  • Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) / Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES).
  • Formaldehyde.
  • Toluene.
  • Propylene Glycol
  • Fluoride

There are hundreds, even thousands more toxic chemicals that can be found in your home right now.

How do companies get away with using these toxic chemicals as ingredients in their products? This video does a good job of summarizing it all up.

How much purchasing power do you really have when it comes to choosing personal care products free of these toxic chemicals?

Actually, quite a lot, especially with the advent of e-commerce sites such as Amazon. A simple search for toxic free shampoos or toothpaste and you are well on your way to removing and replacing toxic products from your household with safe alternatives.

It's amazing how much of an impact making a few minor tweaks in your buying habits does not only for the health of yourself and your family, but for the environment and the world we live in as well.

Take the time to look for products free of toxic chemicals. Look up reviews on these products, and vote with your dollar, it is the vote that counts most for letting the market know what you support. Let the market know what you approve of through your purchases, and what you disapprove of by abstaining from purchasing products that don't align with your values.

You'll contribute to making the world healthier and happier with every conscious purchase.

So true, thanks for drawing the attention to this issue since many people just don't have the information about the harmful effects of the products they are using. Only well informed people can make healthy decisions for their life.

I ditched all those kind of products over the last years, feels so much better to use natural alternatives! 💚
