RE: Dementia

in #health2 years ago

My father spent his entire life working as a personal trainer. He kept going and continued to workout and coach in the gym even after he turned 60. He developed a terrible case of covid last year. No one thought he would survive without artificial breathing, but he did! After his recovery, it took him around six months before he went back to the gym. He was having significant difficulties with his training, and several aspects of his memory weren't as strong as they had were. He cannot recall insignificant workouts. I'm concerned for him. What impact do your types of memory have on your training, if any?
