How to wake up early and not feel tired?
For many of us waking up early is a huge pain. Some of us like to address this problem by setting alarm clocks but then we often find ourselves feeling tired and sluggish So how exactly does one wake up early and not feel tired. There are three things you need to do in order to wake up early every single day filled with energy.
Control your lighting in your bedroom
Sleep is regulated by a hormone called melatonin which is affected by the light that hits your skin. Our bodies use this method to allow us to stay awake when the sun is out and allow us to feel tired and rest when the the sun went down. However, because nowadays there is artificial lighting everywhere in our bedrooms and on our screens of our phones and PCs, we are constantly bombarding our body with white light which prevents the production of melatonin. This is why we have such a hard time falling asleep.
The best way to combat this is by controlling the white light which is already in the room. This can be done by changing the lighting on your screens throughout the night from white to yellow. Therefore, allowing melatonin to be produced naturally.
Lighting is also very important when it comes to feeling energized and awake in the morning. You need to keep your blinds open so that when the sun rises the natural white light can hit your skin and prevent additional production of melatonin. This will prevent you from feeling sleepy in the mornings.
Giving yourself enough sleep
It is obvious that if you are not getting enough sleep it doesn't matter what tricks or tips you employ you will wake up feeling tired. Your body needs a certain hours of sleep to function properly. The trick is to always go to bed around the same time every single day. If you do that then you will naturally start feeling tired at around that time and this makes it very easy for you to fall asleep on time.
Keep your body hydrated
Another useful trick often recommended by people is to drink plenty of water. You need to keep your body hydrated as water increases energy level. As a matter of fact your body suffer from a decrease in energy from every ounce of water lost. Therefore, you need to make sure you are having enough water before going to bed.
If you can put these three tips into practice, you will find yourself waking up earlier and feeling energized.
