This is a chronically advanced disease of the liver, which is characterized by the destruction of the liver cells and the reorganization of the organ structure. This means that the liver function is impaired, which causes all sorts of physical ailments that lead to consciousness damage, consciousness stupor, and the delusions which you once described as an insane madness. Beer is as dangerous as wine or brandy, even in small quantities when it is regularly drunk. Chronic alcoholism is already present when alcohol is consumed several times a week, and I speak of a two or three-fold alcoholic quantity in small quantities, for this already leads to the injury of the liver and causes all sorts of ailments, as well as the damage of the consciousness, the freedom of reaction and movement of the intellect, and also of the thoughts and feelings. Alcohol, of all kinds, with beer occupying a very particular detrimental position, leads to the wrong diet, and malnutrition; even small quantities lead to slight hepatic infections, which are generally not recognized by alcohol drinkers or by any earthly doctors who may be consulted. The fact is that any kind of alcohol, especially beer, whether strong or weak alcoholic, cause metabolic disturbances and also to a large extent destroy the basic physical body, which leads to pain, malaise and nausea, etc. In addition to the above mentioned, alcoholics must also be expected to suffer bile duct occlusions and be beaten by many other health-damaging evils. This what will be briefly said, are the consequences of beer and other alcohol consumption.
