What Is Invasive Breast Cancer (NTS) - Invasive Cancer Definition
As I have already mentioned that there are different types of Breast Cancers out of which some are very common while others are found very rarely.
Invasive breast cancer (NTS) is a kind of breast cancer that is very common in women. The abbreviation NTS stands for Non Special Type.
Let us discuss first about the major difference between special type and non special type of breast cancers. A Special Type of breast cancer is that when its cells are examined under a microscope, they are observed with certain characteristics features that it can be placed in a particular type of breast cancer, while on the other hand, a Non Special Type of breast cancer cells do not leave any sense of their classification while being examined with the help of microscope. Lobular Breast Cancer and some Rare Types Of Breast Cancer falls into the category of special type.
According to the recent observations and Medical Journal reports it can be found that approximately 90 out of every 100 breast cancers (about 90%) that are found in women produce no special characteristics and hence classified as Non Special Type (NTS). NTS may also be referred to as NOS that means Not Otherwise Specified. However, it can be used to to be called as Ductal Carcinoma. This Type Of Cancer begins in the Lining Cells of breast.
