What impacts our mental health

in #health12 days ago

When we talk about our mental health, it comes to our mind that lack of sleep, stress, anxiety, social status, lack of physical exercise are all causes of mental health issues. But why do these things also happen is one question to think of.
For e.g. lack of sleep on a regular basis, what is it governed by? Vitamin D, magnesium and iron deficiency causes lack of sleep and on a regular basis if it happens then it increases the stress hormones in the body. It is all inter-linked.

When it comes to mental health, there are some issues that we can see clearly but there are some issues which we cannot and what we cannot see basically triggers the condition more and they are the real problems to be treated. It becomes complicated to understand our body mechanism sometimes. So it's best to get a regular medical check up done to see that all the important vitamins and minerals that the body need to function optimally are at good levels. And if need be then appropriate diet and supplements to be taken.

All of this should be done under proper medical guidance. These days there are WhatsApp and Instagram doctors as well and all of them wants to give advice, but we must understand that unless a person is not qualified that advice is just coming randomly from their one or two experiences which not necessarily will work for you.

in the world we live in we have little time to take care of both our physical and mental health. We should change our habits and desire less material things to focus on ourselves
