FIVE ENOUGH REASONS TO STOP CONSUMING THE WHITE BREAD

Bread, a staple of our culture, Work of man and fruit of the earth . But it was time to put aside the white bread. Next you will know why.

  • EXCESSIVELY INSUFFICIENT IN FIBER, VITAMINS AND MINERALS

    It is a product that deep down is nothing more than starch, simply calories without any essential nutrients.

    The best part of the flour is removed to later serve as food for the farm animals. For the production of white bread the germ is subtracted from the wheat 1 and the bran. 2

  • TOO SALTY

    A white bread in our days contains 4.7 g of salt, which is the maximum amount recommended by the WHO (World Health Organization) that an average person should eat daily. Although salt is not directly added in its manufacture, it contains 0.2 to 2.2 g of sodium chloride per kilo. 3

  • TOO MIXED

    Wheat is considered an ecological and integral food, but at present it can not be considered as a healthy food, because it is too hybrid (Mix or cross between two components). This contains a high level of glutamine (protein that tends to irritate the intestinal walls).

  • TOO SWEET

    The white bread is not considered a slow sugar, but rather a fast-burning sugar with a high glycemic percentage (blood glucose level), which causes a considerable wear of insulin and several reactions of hypoglycemia.

    A maximum glycemia index corresponding to 100 corresponds to white bread, which, as previously stated, is nothing more than starch and this is not more than a sequence of glucose molecules.

    Practically eating white bread is more harmful than eating spoonfuls directly of sugar, because the blood sugar levels rise a lot, affecting the pancreas and probably in the future developing great resistance to insulin (Hormone produced by the pancreas, which responsible for regulating the amount of glucose in the blood), causing obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

  • TOO GLUTEN

    Gluten makes the white bread more exquisite, more specifically to the wheat that are the results of hybrid processes, that is why the more gluten contains the flour the more fermented the bread, making it spongy and appetizing.

    The real problem is that most people do not resist such amounts of gluten in the white bread of our days, causing side effects such as fatigue, abdominal pain, joint problems, diarrhea, etc.


  • Sadly eating bread in our time is not recommended, if you are used to consuming one day of these tests and do not consume it, you will notice surprisingly how you will feel lighter and more energized after a meal without bread, and perhaps discover why not, the cure for some of your ailments or discomforts. On the other hand I assure you that eating salads, fruit, fried eggs and even ham, trying to alleviate the absence of bread, will sit very well.
