Yep, I can totally relate to that. At first I was not educated, thus I struggled with my cutting phase. Later I found out that the biggest rival for your fitness goals is SUGAR. Thus by limiting my sugar intake and proper nutrition I was able to drop around 22 lbs. It's good that people are being educated now-a-days. Keep up the good work. Looking forward for your post. :)
