Top 5 healthiest fruits and ways to make them delicious
Everyone knows fruit is good for us but not enough people eat it. This could be for a variety of reasons but the main ones are the price, the taste, shelf life or just ignorance. It is true that they can go off quickly so you can't always buy fresh fruit that will last you a week so it does mean regular food shops but the benefits you and your body gets from eating food is tremendous. So what are the 5 best?
1- Olives! Now you may not think of a olive as a fruit as it is not sweet at all but it really is a fruit. Most people either hate or love olives so it's hard to learn to like them however if you do like them just like I do you will reap all the benefits. What are some good things that olives contain?

- Iron
- Oleic acid and plenty of antioxidants
Olives help prevent heart disease, liver damage and helps with the hearts overall health If you don't already eat olives I suggest you should try them, you can eat them on there own, in salads, in sandwiches, on pizza there are plenty of ways you can incorporate olives into your life.
2 - Is Blueberries. I think this is a favourite amongst a lot of people and rightly so! Blueberries are delicious and are perfect baked into things such as muffins and pie but I enjoy eating them on there own the most. So what are some of the good things Blueberries give us?

- Manganese
- And a whole lot of fibre
Like olives they help prevent heart disease but also reduce inflammation and ageing of the arteries. Like I said before blueberries are perfect when baked into food such as pie and muffins however they are amazing when eaten on there own or maybe in some porridge. Blueberries are also a great ingredients for smoothies.
3- Oranges are in at number 3 and they are one of my all time favourite fruits, all citrus fruits are bursting full of flavour and juice which is no wonder there enjoyed all over the world even if they are not grown in all countries due to weather conditions. Oranges aren't just delicious though they contain some amazing vitamins and minerals the do amazing things for us.

Oranges help prevent kidney stones and anemia. The most common way Oranges are consumed is through juice form! Everyone loves a cold glass of orange juice in the morning or on a sunny day which is no wonder why Orange juice has been named the most favourable flavour of juice worldwide.
4- Another one of my favourites and coming in at number 4 is Mango! Unlike blueberries mango is not often used as a baking ingredients but that doesn't stop it tasting delicious. mango amazing on its own every piece is full of juice and flavour and is also excellent for smoothies. It doesn't stop there though just like every other fruit it is full of good stuff.

I suggest everybody try cutting up some mango into porridge or even better rice pudding, dried mango is also amazing! It's shelf life is also much longer than fresh fruit.
5- Another favourite of many is strawberries! They are delicious on there own, with cream, in desserts,in cakes, on pancakes the uses for strawberries is endless. Like many of these fruits these are one of my favourite fruits maybe eve the number one.
