10,000 steps prove to be more difficult than you would think.
In my previous post, I bought a Fitbit charge 2, you could read that I'm serious about getting my ass off the couch and move. After a few days, this tracker has shown me a lot of fun.
10,000 difficult steps
The goal is to make 10,000 steps a day. This seemed quite easy, but this seems to be more difficult than I thought. Apparently, I did not do more than 2000 steps before. Now I have to force myself to move, which is good!
Challenges
Every day so far, I join so-called challenges with @lizzzymontagne (I am looking for more contenders so let me know if you own a Fitbit watch...). To win such a challenge, you must get the most steps per day. Apparently, I do not like to lose and if my opponent is on top, I lift myself from the chair and do some extra steps.
So far, everything goes according to plan and I move more than ever.
The next challenge Most steps in 1-weekend start tomorrow ...
Fellow Steemians, have the best day! And don't forget, Life is for living!
10/10 for effort @s3rg3
I think if you add up all my steps then I have easily done 10k steps....... This year:)
Thanx m8, maybe we better count our steps together to at least make it look like we took a lot of effort for all those steps.
I average around 2K steps a day as I work from home and don't necessarily need to venture very far. I find I get in more steps on the weekend especially while playing Pokemon Go!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles to get the steps in. It can be disheartening sometimes when you don't make your daily goal. But every step counts! I'm glad challenges are working for you! :D
Good luck with your Fitbit. I think it's a very good idea!!!
Maybe you and Exyle can work out together since you both want to lose weight.
