Eye care at Stamford Free
In honor of language martyrs in the month of Great Stamford, the Stamford University Literary Forum organizes eye care for one day free of charge.
The camp was held on Sunday at Siddhesari Campus Auditorium. The camp started at 9:30 in the morning at 3:30 pm At this time, more than three hundred students were provided free medical services. In collaboration with the camp, Stamford University has provided medical care and Fashion Eye Hospital
The doctor at the camp was eye specialist of Fashion Eye Hospital. Sharafat Anam Sabuj and Eye Department of Bangabandhu Medical University, Dr. Sharmin Akter, Eye Department, Optometry Kazi Mahfuza Khanam, Manager of Fashion Eye Hospital. There are 10 doctors including Farid Uddin and Ophthalmic Assistant.
In the month of the month, the Vice-Chancellor said thanked the medical camp organized by the Sahitya Forum in honor of language martyr. M Firoz Ahmed.
He said, members of the literary forum will participate in such social activities in future without being bound by literary force.
Dr. Sharafat Anam Sabuj said that a healthy eye can usually be sick due to various reasons. That is why every conscious person should wash his eyes with clean water at least once every 6-12 months, and at least five times daily with clean water.
70-80 percent of the eyes in Bangladesh are due to the problem of dust and the rest is due to birth problem. However, 80 percent of the students are vision problems.
In addition to this, allergic problems, old age problems, insufficiency problems, eyesight during summer and people suffer from cataracts. But the hope is that if the cataract is detected in the first place, then 100% can be protected from blindness through surgery.

Sahitya Forum Coordinator and Assistant Professor of English Department Mrs Noor-e-Nusrat Zerin said that literary forum is not limited to distributing literary knowledge among the students, but also in literature, the literature forum will continue in the future. President of the Sahitya Forum Arif Chowdhury Shuvo expressed his gratitude to the Stamford family and Fashion Eye Hospital for finishing the camp beautifully.
He said, we will maintain its continuity in the future.
