Lemon Pudding Cake
Ingredients
4 tbsp. tasteless butter, at space worker, and a lot of for the dish
1 c. sugar
3 massive eggs, separated
1/3 c. general flour
3/4 c. whole milk
1/3 c. contemporary juice
Confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
Directions
Heat kitchen appliance to 350°F and grease shallow 2-quart oval baking dish.
Using mixer, beat butter, sugar and egg yolks in massive bowl till light-weight and downlike, concerning three minutes. Add flour and blend to mix. cut back mixer speed to low and blend in milk and juice (batter might look curdled).
In second bowl, with clean beaters, beat egg whites till stiff peaks type, 3 minutes. Stir tierce of whites into lemon mixture, then fold in remaining whites till combined.
Transfer mixture to ready baking dish and place dish in cookery pan. Add enough boiling water to cookery pan to come back tierce of the high baking dish. Transfer cookery pan to kitchen appliance and bake till light-weight golden brown, thirty five to forty minutes.
If desired, place a bunny cutout on prime of cake, then dirt with confectioners’ sugar. rigorously raise away example and serve
