Can hair be grown by consuming BIOTIN? What if you Overdose the Biotin?

Let's talk about biotin. What is biotin? What are it's benefits? Does it really helps in hair growth? Is it harmful if you overdose it?
What actually biotin is? Biotin is actually a water soluble vitamin. It is a form of vitamin B which is present in many foods and available as a supplement. Biotin is sold under many names, like Appearex, vitamin b7, vitamin H, biotina, biotine, and coenzyme R. Biotin works by breaking down the food into sugar so that your body can use for energy. Biotin deficiency is extremely rare because of it's low recomendation and it is very easily available in many foods. You don't need to add supplement for biotin unless you have a lab report saying that you have vitamin B7 deficiency.
Now lets talk about why people use biotin. Most people use biotin to strenthen there hairs to regrow there hairs. But is that really worth your money. According to me no. Biotin should only be used when a doctor recommends you and you have a report saying vitamin b7 deficiency. Yes it is true that biotin helps thickening your hairs, nails, and is good for your skin. But do you really think that biotin is only the reason behind hair fall? Absolutely no. There are certain other reasons. Biotin is not the primary source for your hair growth it only assists the hair growth. Remember it only assists the hair growth.
So why do people buy biotin supplement? Because companies are making huge money by these kind of supplements to those who dont have the right knowledge about biotin and they advertise it in such a manner that you start believing it. Biotin's primary work is break down sugar. Biotin supplement is very rare guys you dont need these supplements. There are plenty of sources of biotin like eggs, almonds, cauliflower, cheeses, mushrooms, sweet potato, spinach,etc.
The daily reccomendation by RDA ( Recommended Daily Allowance) is 300 mcg.
Now lets talk about what if you overdose the consumption of biotin.
Biotin is usually safe even if overdosed. You can still experiance allergic reaction, skin rashes, frequent urination. This is because of inactive ingredients in any supplement including biotin. It may cause pimples in certain cases. It is safe because it is a water soluble vitamin. The body doesnt store it falls out with urine.
So thats all about biotin thing just remember take it only when doctor recommends it and you have a report stating vitamin b7 deficiency.
