The Queen's Homeopath dies
Dr Peter Fisher was not only the queen's doctor but also President Of The Faculty Of Homeopathy and the Director of Research at the Royal London Hospital. He was killed by a lorry whilst cycling in Central London on Wednesday, which was ironically, "cycle to work" day. He will be sorely missed in the homeopathic community as well as by his friends and family.
He was an enthusiastic and excellent homeopath and also chaired the World Health Organisation's working group on homeopathy and was a member of their Expert Advisory Panel on Traditional and Complementary Medicine.
He was awarded the Albert Schweitzer Gold Medal of the Polish Academy of Medicine in 2007.
