Philosophy Of Eyes

Eyes is the window of our soul. There are so many fact about eyes. This organ's function is not only for seeing. In fact, there are so many indicator based from the eyes. From the eyes, we can predict a disease or any organ's malfunction, even... we can predict what is that the eye's owner think of.. and also from the eyes, we can predict about his/her life whether he/she is good guy or bad guy. Wow! When i found this fact, i must admit that so much thing that i didn't know about the eyes fact. 

Eyes are organs that detect light. Different kinds of light-sensitive organs are found in a variety of animals. The simplest eyes do nothing but detect whether the surroundings are light or dark, which is sufficient for the entrainment of circadian rhythms but can hardly be called vision. More complex eyes can distinguish shapes and colors. The visual fields of some such complex eyes largely overlap, to allow better depth perception (binocular vision), as in humans; and others are placed so as to minimize the overlap, such as in rabbits and chameleons. In the human eye, light enters the pupil and is focused on the retina by the lens. Light-sensitive nerve cells called rods (for brightness) and cones (for color) react to the light. In the medical world, the doctors also examine their patient's eyes, especially their pupil. Good pupil will react normal from lights. If the intensity of light is much, the diameter of pupil will become small and also for the contrary. But the pupil from the human who have a disease will react it differently or slowly. In Chinese medical world, there are some standard to indicate that the patience is have a disease or not based also from the eyes. Some of the indicators are as follow:

1. Swollen eyes : usually caused by water retention

2. Dry eyes : usually caused by deficiency of blood in the liver

3. Swollen and red eyes : usually caused by wind heat

This fact proove that from the eyes, we can examine whether the human is sick or not

When i search all the fact about eyes, i realize that this organ is very important for us to keep moving forward. We see the world with our eyes, we learn every skill by reading book with our eyes, and also... we read blogosphere with our eyes. Actually my eyes need eyeglasses.
