in #health7 years ago (edited)

Good morning steemian.
This morning I have a little knowledge that I want to share with you, this is the benefit of Kitolod flower that grows wild in my village and hopefully this can be useful.
Kitolod is one type of plant that is quite easy to find and grow wild in moist places such as ditches, riverbanks, rice fields or around the lake. this kitolod plant is also often used as an ornamental plant by some people because the shape of the plant is nice and beautiful. but do you know if some parts of this kitolod plant contain remarkable benefits and benefits for health ...?

Eye medication

One of the most common functions of kitolod flowers is as an irritating eye remedy, the use of kitolod as an eye remedy has been shown to be scientifically safe. How to use it is to take some kitolod flowers up to the base of the flower stalk. Soak the flower in clean water for a few minutes, then drop the water from the end of the flower stalk to your eyes as much as 2-3 drops. Initially your eyes will feel sore and sepat, repeat this as much as 3 times a day.

Cataract

Cataract is a disease that requires medical surgery to be cured and eliminated. But who would have thought that low-grade plants such as kitolod can cure cataracts, the way is take a piece of kitolod leaf, break the leaf bone, press to remove water and mix the water with 5 tablespoons of clean water. Apply to eyes that have cataracts.

Tooth ache

Toothache can be cured by kitolod plants especially leaves. The trick is to mash 2 pieces of kitolod leaf until smooth and put into a hollow teeth. This method actually only acts as a pain reliever, for healing you can do the removal or patching of teeth.

Asthma and sore throat

Kitolod leaves are often used to cure asthma, bronchitis and bronchitis traditionally. The trick is to boil 2-3 clean kitolod leaves, after which the water is filtered and drunk up to 2 times a day.

Cancer

Kitolod leaf is believed to have properties to cure cancer. The trick is to boil 3 pieces of kitolod leaves that are still attached to the stem (avoid base of stem) in 5 cups of clean water, let evaporate to leave only 1 cup water and drink 1 times a day. Because it does not feel good, you do not have to spend it and can drink it little by little.

Antibiotics wound

Kitolod leaves can act as natural antibiotics for minor injuries such as abrasions or tearing. How to use the same as in the case of toothache, kitolod leaves pounded and dibalurkan on wounds and surrounding areas. This method is not recommended for severe injuries such as deep tear wounds because if the leaves are left in the wound for a long time, it can cause infection.

This flower can be an alternative medicine for some types of diseases and is still used by the community as a traditional medicinal plant in my area.
hopefully be useful and become additional science for all.

@terry00, I think it is always interesting to find out how people use natural remedies such as you have described here. I don't know if I have ever seen this flower growing in the US. It is very beautiful!

Thanks for writing out the details of each remedy, and usage for this valuable plant.
