Plant-Based Diet & Mood

in #health7 years ago

This is a link to a video from Nutrition Facts.org, a website created by Dr. Micheal Greger. Dr. Greger tries to bring evidence based information to the people on all things health related. I concur with this method of information gathering and distribution and I therefore have chosen to link this video here. I am in no way associated with Nutrition Facts.org or Dr. Greger.

I am simply hoping to spread his wealth of knowledge and work with the rest of the world.

Please hit that upvote if you like and feel free to ask questions or comment. I am Registered Nurse and will do my best to help answer any questions one might have pertaining to the videos or health in general.

Please i didn't understand what the video is trying to explain. Can u elaborate a bit

The video provides peer reviewed evidence showing those eating a plant based whole food (pbwf) diet are on average happier than those eating a diet containing animal products. It offers us two reasons as to why that is. One being that people who eat PBWF are overall in better physical health which then coincides to better mental health. The other fact being that animal products, particularly chicken contains arachidonic acid which causes inflammation resulting in an adverse effect to mental health.

So basically it is sayin that people who eat a PBWF diets tend to be in better moods than people who eat animal products.

Thanks for the question and I hope this helps.
