RE: 7 Unhealthy "Health" Foods to Avoid

in #health7 years ago

I would like to add to this by saying: 1. When you buy anything, even from Wholefoods and Trader Joes, Make sure the food product has the USDA Certified Organic logo and/or the word ORGANIC on it. If not, you are paying for expensive GMO and Conventionally grown crap food.

  1. HONEY must be certified organic as well. Biodynamic Demeter certified is even better. Why? Local honey if not certified, is most certainly laced with antibiotics, insecticides, weed killers and GMO corn syrup.

Look into why beekeepers in the US lost over 45% of their hives. Do to horrible beekeeping practices. https://steemit.com/life/@thewayiseeit/what-i-learned-about-the-beekeeping-industry-that-may-shock-you

What are your thoughts on Biodynamic Certified food products?

Yes, Whole Foods is tricky because their expensive produce is actually convention GMO. Biodynamic is a higher standard than organic. Thanks for sharing.

Agreed. Natural Grocers, if you have one in your area, sells 100% certified organic produce and is more affordable than Whole Paycheck. Great video, ty for sharing. Followed you.
