Why do we dream while we sleep?

As we do not know, friends of steemit, dreams are generated in our mind while we sleep or rest, these are eventually produced by images, people, fears, anxieties, desires and longings, which we have generated during the day or recently. When resting, all these thoughts go through a storage process destined to our memory, this process is generated in the hippocampus region, located below the cerebral cortex.

Through this process these memories are revived by our mind and imagination; these are eventually a bit crazy or out of place, this is because the part of our brain that has the specific function of perceiving the logic and reality of situations, is inactive during rest and for this reason our imagination does not impose limits during dreams, which becomes the most beautiful and satisfying part of dreaming.

While we are dreaming, a combination of recent information is generated with old information, in a very creative way, producing new scenarios and versions of what has been happening to us. In our mind during the dream we can be developing a film in which we can have powers, be chased by a dress, see people who have died, and the classics "fall to the precipice" or "go to the bathroom", to these last two dreams, they do not have specific theories, but by inquiring I came to the conclusion that while we sleep our heart system, our stimuli and our nerves are still active, which means that if we dream of falling down our nerves and reflexes rush immediately, and in the If we dream of going to the bathroom, our stimulus satisfies our need.

In particular, sleeping and simultaneously dreaming are necessary mechanisms for the memorization process. In addition, scientific studies show that dreaming expresses a pleasant and pleasant rest.
