Yoga is a magical practice that produces curiosity inside us and mind arises many questions as:-

1.WHAT IS YOGA?

2.HOW THIS IS BENEFICIAL FOR STUDENTS?

3.HISTORICAL IMPORTANCE AND EFFECTIVE RESULT THAT HAS BEEN SEEN.

4.CAN ANYONE DO THIS, LIKE ME? IF YES, IT IS DIFFICULT OR EASY?

Yoga is a group of disciplines, practices and exercise that unites a human body physically, spiritually, mentally.

HISTORICAL ASPECTS AND IMPORTANCE
It is a form of Hinduism cultural discipline.

Many researchers thinks that the evolution of yoga was started about 10000 years ago in India. Rigveda, one of four vedas described about yoga. Patanjali, a saint arranged the yoga effectively in his book YOGA-SUTRAS. Maharshi Patanjali is considered as the father of yoga.

Ancient Indian culture was prosperous in every aspects. Yoga is a process of Salvation(mokshya). It unites body with mind and creates a magical power inside the body which results in never being ill.

Some myths, folktales you can see in Hindu sacred books:-

  1. By Yoga, saints were able to separate its body and soul anytime.

2.Yoga vidya had made saints to change his shape, direct contact to god, walk on the air etc.

  1. Yoga made him young and never be an old means they can live on earth as many years as they want. They were blessed by God a boon in hindi इच्छामृत्यु.

A STUDENT is similar in the way as saint.

So, Student should be healthy and they can achieve extreme health, disease free body and a complete individual personality by doing yoga.

Due to less time for other work than study, a student or bibliographic can do quick body and mental relaxation practice.

Yoga is mainly practiced in two forms, one is AASAN and other is PRANAYAM.

STUDENT MUST DO 5 YOGA STEPS

  1. SURYA- NAMSKAR
    SURYA NAMASKAR is considered as acomplete package for body workout.

It consists of 12 strong and powerful yoga poses. It is simply a salution method of GOD SUN.It is also known to have immense and great positive impact on the body and mind.

It should be practised in early morning with empty stomach.

2.GARUD- AASAN

GARUD means Eagle. Eagle is considered as the king of birds, and the vehicle og God VISHNU mentioned in Sacred novels.

Eagle has a keen eyesight. It can see its prey from a large distance while flying in the sky. Its strength, flexibility and unwavering concentration are amazing. This aasan can uplift your concentration and give power of eagle.

  1. ANULOM - VILOM PRANAYAM
    Above mentioned two steps were AASAN and POSES. In this paragraph I shall describe about three highly effective Pranayam.

Pranayam is mainly done by breathing air.

It means "control of breathe". PRANAYAM (PRAN + AAYAM) first part is pran means vital energy necessary for life i.e. Air and AAYAM means control.

Anulom vilom pranayan:- for this, one should be in meditation pose. Then start in pranav mudra with right hand. Anulom vilom means alternate nostril breathing.

4.BHASTRIKA PRANAYAM

Inhale breathe easily and slowly and exhale it forcibly is the process of bhastrika pranayam. It is very simple step and one can easily do this. Very useful for calmness of mind and relaxation from stress.

  1. BHRAMARI PRANAYAM

It is also known as humming bee breath.

In this pranayam sound is prduced with the help of nose and tightly covering up of ear and eyes with the help of both hands is done. Taking deep breathe and produce bee like sound while exhaling air slowly.

This is very useful for a person who spends his whole day in highly noised area. Mental peace, less tension and stress free life he can enjoy.
