What is your approach to health and fittness?

Extreme Moderation
As a species, we are sort of drawn to extreme things aren't we?

  • A 4 hour work week, or a hundred.
  • A 6 minute workout, or 6 hours.
  • Skydiving or sleeping.

But in terms of health and fittness, often is that middle ground that's optimal.
You want to be healthy?

-Don't eat nothing. Don't eat for more than you need. Eat in moderation.
-Don't sleep 2 hours a night. Don't sleep 16 hours earlier. Sleep in Moderation.
-Don't avoid any particular food. But get enough variety. Graze in moderation.
-Don't avoid any exercise. But don't overdo it, either. Train in moderation.

It is in certain endpoints where we lose our way.
That "all or nothing" mindset, where we are tempted into unactual behaviors. Where we become addicted to substances and sensations.
