During the speech on Forbes conference, Philipp Mironovich shared news about 4 possible scenarios on how to use blockchain technology. These scenarios were unveiled by Robomed Network, founded by him and Ivan Devyatkov, to solve the most frequent problems among patients.

“The advantage of new technologies is that a smart-contract allows structuring medical services or a set of them even before bringing them to a patient. Thus, using blockchain technology allows a new level of negotiations between a medical services consumer and provider”, states Philipp Mironovich.

ROBOMED SPECIFIES 4 SCENARIOS
The first scenario of work is that a patient’s funds are returned to his account in case a service is not performed according to standard.
Second scenario is the medical data aggregation. That step solves the problem of information exchange between clinics either within one single country or in an international format. Nowadays the patient has to visit various medical centers to collect health card with information, for, say, getting medical services in other clinic or abroad. Another problem lies in a lack of single criteria allowing to use a single patient’s data in various centers. It often happens that coming from one clinic to another the patient has to run through same tests and diagnostics he already done.

As blockchain technologies implement, patient becomes a legal owner of his personal medical data and has the right to resend those data or open access to them to any third-party clinic. No additional legal or third side is required to regulate those actions. That excludes bureaucracy barrier that is currently a mess for digital healthcare to develop. This will be convenient, first for a patient himself. Herein we can avoid decentralized data base and leave fragments of patient’ health record distributed in clinics.

The third scenario allows Robomed attract wide-profiled medical specialists letting them to either perpetuate knowledge or get a reward for making technology standards of performing services and contribute to the whole medical sphere.

Finally, the fourth scenario is a global loyalty system accessible to all system users.

As a result of such scaling we can reach new level of medical services, technology development and information exchange between medical services customers and clinics. Also blockchain simplifies the adoption of international requirements to medical standards and pass accreditation for clinics and medical specialists in an international format and executively provide qualified healthcare to any participant of the new system.
