What I Eat In A Day to Lose Weight - How I Lost 35 lbs
So for today we're doing another what I in a day to lose weight video you guys love watching these and I really love doing them they're super fun so I wanted to give a quick little disclaimer because I feel like it I always have to with these videos please keep in mind that the amount of calories I consume is the you know specialized for me I'm only 5 feet so that makes a huge difference it also depends your activity level you know a bunch of different things your age so please don't just follow the amount of calories that I eat in a day please make sure to check the account the calculator down below so that you can see how much you require in a day because every single individual in this earth is different to lose weight to gain weight and to maintain they need a different amount of food I'm gonna be sharing these breakfast potatoes that I love from this restaurant called flips so good you guys me my sister go there all the time but they're actually fried like I'm pretty sure they're fried they taste way too good not to be so I'm gonna kind of make them in a healthier way and they still taste so delicious I'm excited to share that with you guys so if you guys want to see or what I eat in a day today then keep watching I'm literally just going to slice them so I like to make some of them thin some of them thick it's really just personal preference I like again some thick something so I think this is gonna actually be an okay amount for me so I'm not going to end up eating this potato so I'm gonna put it back now so now what you want to do is take a piece of paper towel lay the potatoes out and dry them because obviously they kind of just like wet and when they're wet they're not gonna get like that like dry crisp enos that you would want as if it was fried but we're not making it fried you know how to try so now I just have my pan here and I am just going to place all the potatoes on so I'm just gonna take a little bit of this spray oil and spray a little bit you really don't need much and then I'm gonna be using muncho chicken spice you guys this is like key key key I'm telling you this is like I think this is pretty much the exact spice that the restaurant flips uses that I was telling you guys about it literally tastes exactly like it so I'm pretty sure this is the one that they use it's so good you guys so I'm actually not gonna put that much on it I'm mainly gonna put the seasoning on after the potatoes are done and now that the oven is done I'm just going to pop that in there so later on for dinner I'm actually gonna be making a fried chicken so one of them I'm gonna actually fry it and that's not for me though for me I'm going to be making a little fried chicken do but I'm gonna try this for the first time I'm gonna coat it as if it would be fried chicken but then I'm gonna bake it so like I said I'm trying this for the first time but we'll see how it goes and I'll show you guys later on obviously during dinner time what I'm gonna do but when I make fried chicken I just like to make it super duper simple like I don't like to do the whole shebang so I'm just taking a tablespoon of flour and but I've also used quinoa flour and it's really good you guys and there's extra protein and fiber there so it's really good but to be honest on my chicken it's not gonna be really coated that much it's just gonna have like the lightest layer so it's really not that big of a deal and then what I like to do is take some assault I'm just using some pink salt and I like to pretend like pretend I'm coating the chicken that's how I kind of see how much salt I would like to play because I know sometimes it's hard to gauge how much and then for garlic I'm gonna put half the amount of salt that I did and then black pepper I'm just gonna do a little bit cuz I don't want it to be too too tangy so I'm going to make some turkey bacon you guys have seen this is the brand that I use it's from Whole Foods and sorry about the bag it's in the brint it's from the brand well sure well sure I'm just gonna spray a tiny bit of cooking oil and I'm going to use the last two slices so I've just put a little bit of oil inside this pan and now I'm going to make two egg whites so there's nothing bad with the yolks at all they're very nutritious it's just I don't know what it is lately I've really been liking egg whites and not the yolk and don't worry we do not waste the yolks we use them for other things okay so what I am going to do now is just take a little bit of the spray oil just a tiny bit and spray the potatoes again this is gonna make them a little bit like sticky again so that the seasoning will kind of adhere to it then just gonna take my potatoes so now is where we're gonna take our famous Montreal chicken spice this stuff is amazing now I personally I personally like a lot of seasoning we're not gonna judge here that's not that's what we're not gonna do today we're not gonna come here and judge oh I also want to mention that I normally do not make these on the weekday since they do take longer to make and there is you know more sodium on them I typically will stick to them on the weekends sometimes I literally never make a drink week because again it just takes you know longer to make and then even more of a quicker breakfast but since we are filming a what I eat in a day today video and I showed this on snapchat a few days ago on the weekend I wanted to share with you guys the recipe so our turkey bacon is pretty much done so I'm just gonna take that and egg whites are ready to and there's my breakfast look how yummy that looks you guys I'm about to go devour this and I'm also gonna have a little bit of ketchup on the side so it's around like now and I'm just gonna have some blueberries and some strawberries as a little snack so yummy this is like one of my favorite snacks so it's lunchtime and I'm preheating the oven and I'm just gonna make myself a pizza so I found these really cool pita breads at Sobeys my sister gets them for me because I don't have a soul B's where I live but oh my god they're so good you guys I don't know if I've mentioned them to you guys yet but they're only 170 calories which is really good because normally pitas are like 200 plus and they have pretty good protein and fiber so I just really like these this is the brand if you guys want to try to find them or just go to your local grocery store and try to find like the best type of pita then I'm just going to use some one ingredient tomato sauce this is just pure tomato sauce as the pizza sauce then I'm just putting some mozzarella cheese and I'm going to take some turkey pepperoni and I'm just gonna use it six slices well there's seven here so I'm just gonna take seven then I'm gonna take some kalamata olives I've been loving putting these on my sheets of it's so good I like a lot and I'm just gonna take some chopped up onions that I've already sliced up for the week and I have a bunch of spinach I'm just gonna take a good handful and just rip it up I like a lot of spinach on my pizza too and that is it I'm gonna go ahead and pop this in the oven for 15 minutes now on 450 so I'm actually gonna go ahead and start prepping at dinner now just so that later when I come home from the jam I can just go ahead turn on the rice cooker have it cooking and it's just already prepped and done it'll take away less time later on so that's what we're gonna do I'm actually gonna make rice and peas tonight you guys I made right Jamaican rice and peas for the first time last week it was so good like I'm not even gonna lie I'm not gonna toot my own horn here but I made it really good and I just followed like a step by step recipe on youtube but I'm just gonna put one large can't or not a large can it's like a regular-sized can 400 milliliters of red kidney beans and I'm only going to use half a can of coconut milk so I have here the rest of the other half of the can that I used from last week so I'm just gonna go ahead and pop that in then I have some pre chopped up white onion to be honest you guys I can't remember if this is white or yellow onion either way it doesn't matter whatever just put some onion I'm gonna take two tablespoons and then I'm gonna just take one habanero pepper pop that in there and then I'm gonna take green onion but what I'm gonna do is grab a knife and smash it up and just smash it up that's gonna get all of the flavors to be able to extract and come out pop that in there and I'm gonna take some minced garlic I'm just gonna take about a teaspoon kind of looks like two but whatever and that you're gonna need some at time so I like to put two the stems in or just like a good big chunk you see how this is a nice big piece that's good enough so I'm gonna be using this cup and filling it up with two glasses of water I'll see you later on if I need more water so I'm gonna put a little bit of salt of course about that much is good what is that I guess I guess it's he spoon I normally taste it afterwards at the end and really see and just a few cracks of pepper not much because I don't really like that much and that is pretty much it this is just gonna sit here now that way it's prepped for later when I come home from the gym I'm gonna let this boil for 10 minutes and then we'll put the rice in and let the rice cook and now that the chicken is thawed I just put it inside of the bag and I can just shake it all up and that's how I'm going to coat it again just super simple so here's the pizza how amazing does it look you guys I also just sprinkled a little bit of this garlic aioli on top and that's pretty much it I'm gonna go ahead and watch some Real Housewives while I eat this okay so I am back from the gym and I just took my shower and now I'm just gonna let what I showed you guys earlier for the rice and peas just boil for a little bit it's still just the time the habanero pepper and just all that first with no rice there we go so I'm going to leave that for 10 minutes and then I'm gonna come back and start the rest of the dinner okay so it's now done boiling and as you can see all of the flavors have kind of meshed together and the beans are cooked now so what I'm gonna go ahead and do is put in the right now I don't measure how much rice I'm putting because I just look at how it looks in the water and I'll show you guys what I mean by that so you see how there's just I've way too much water in that when I do this when I just like kind of kick it back a little bit you don't see any rice that's how I know I need to add more rice so I'm just gonna add a little bit more so I pretty much freestyle this this is just how I make my rice I just see how much water to rice ratio there is so kicking it back so it needs a little bit more so you see now when I kick it back you see the rice grains so there's just that like little bit of layer of water on top but that's pretty much how you want it to be so now I'm just gonna close up and I'm just gonna put it on quick rice okay so I'm preheating my oven at to 450 it's still preheating I'm just gonna pop it in now and here is the chicken so I just popped it in this glass tray container whatever you want to call it and I just put some spray oil on top of it I didn't overload the oil I didn't put that much because obviously just super high in calories so I would say I put about 40 30 to 40 calories of oils and I'm just gonna pop that into the oven I just wanted to show you guys that I ended up switching over to the pan just because the oven was taking it too long since I like preheated it last minute so yeah the pan is just quicker and that's what I'm doing so the rice and peas is done I usually just like to let my rice sit for five minutes so I'm just gonna go ahead and start taking out the pepper you want to make sure you don't burst to the pepper or else it's gonna let out all of its spiciness and its really really hot so you don't want that and then I'm just gonna also take out the time if I can dig it out can I just have a little plate where I'm putting it on so there is the green onion and I'm just gonna take that out how yummy does it look you guys I'm like obsessed with rice and peas now ever since I made it last week it was just so good I like love it now so dinner is ready you guys that cannot wait to dig into this so normally I will have like a veggie or salad on the side but I don't have any in the fridge right now so this is gonna be it for tonight you guys that fried chicken you know quote-unquote fried chicken was so good like I know it's my first time making it but it actually turned out really good I'll definitely make it again one time and it doesn't really add that many calories it adds about 80 to 90 calories to the chicken but anyways now I'm just gonna have a little bit of dessert I picked up these two buy brownies from Whole Foods and they're actually really good the calories are not bad at all so if you have a sweet tooth like me try to get like just like mini sized desserts it just really helps to like keep balance in your life and keep you on track because like I said if yours have a sweet tooth like me you literally cannot live without desserts or else you'll just end up going crazy and like binging you know what I mean so yeah I'm just gonna go ahead and have one of these so that is pretty much it for the night guys I think I haven't really looked yet but I'm pretty sure I think I under eight a little bit today I think I'm estimating like I haven't counted yet but I'm estimating that I'm under by like a hundred ish anyways it doesn't really matter though because if I'm ever under I'll have extra room to splurge a little bit more on the weekends which I prefer anyways so yeah I don't really mind that but anyways that's pretty much it I hope you guys enjoyed watching another what I a day to lose weight video and of course I will see
