I AM A SOLDIER OF CHRIST

A good soldier is one who serves with everything he is and with everything he has.
2 Timothy 2: 1
Therefore, my son, fight in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
We must make an effort every day, Jesus taught us giving his life for all of us, when we were about to be shot, he got up said to the one who was right there in front of the platoon about to shoot against all of us, shouting; Hey wait here I am! I will die for all of them, they are free from all guilt. Today I pay for them.
He bought us with his life with his blood, saved us, rescued us, redeemed us
Our Lord's place is unique, no one can ever take it from him, but he is our example to follow.
For this we must fight every day, for others like us receive redemption, salvation and eternal life
2 Timothy 2: 2
What you have heard from me before many witnesses, this instructs faithful men who are also suitable to teach others.
We must transmit these words among men, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 2: 3-4
You therefore suffer difficulties as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Nobody who is a militant gets involved in the business of life, to please the one who took him for a soldier.
We must be persistent and firm with the work that God has given us with the attitude of a soldier.
2 Timothy 2: 5
And also he who fights as an athlete is not crowned if he does not fight legitimately.
Persevere for God with the attitude of an athlete, an athlete prepares, trains, exercises and runs the race until reaching the goal, where he finally receives his award.

2 Timothy 2: 6
The farmer, to participate in the fruits, must work first.
Persevere for God with the attitude of a farmer.
2 Timothy 2: 7
Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in everything.
We must seek the Lord day and night to understand his plans and purposes for us.
2 Timothy 2: 8 Remember Jesus Christ, of the lineage of David, risen from the dead according to my gospel.
2 Timothy 2: 9 In which I suffer penalties, including prisons as criminal; but the word of God is not caught
2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore, I endure everything for the love of the elect, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
How much more should we, as Christians, follow the one who endured suffering and death to rescue us from the most terrible fate of all, an eternity in hell?
That was the idea that Paul had in mind when, at the end of his ministry and after being imprisoned by Emperor Nero, he wrote to encourage young pastor Timothy. Timothy faced serious conflict in his ministry at Ephesus as he was opposed by heretics, apostates, and persecutors who relentlessly sought to weaken him. Like any Christian experiencing difficulty because of following Christ, he needed to be reminded again that his task was to suffer hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
