The Grisettes of Montpellier are among the oldest sweets in France. Their consumption dates back to the Middle Ages and served as extra money for pilgrims in the route to Santiago de Compostela. They have the shape of small black balls sprinkled with white sugar.

it reminds me turkish alcohol Rakı and thats why i like it.
