it is a plant, known also as cannabis. actually cannabis is the name of the orginal plant. marijuana is one of the forms of cannabis. (fot he others; hashish and hashish oil). it is mostly used as drug, but also used as medicine.

marijuana is the dried flowers and leaves of the cannabis. as a drug it has many nicknames such as weed, pot, grass, joints, hash, dope, ganja, skunk, green, brew, reefers and many others. marijuana is usually smoked in hand-rolled cigarettes but it is also popular to add into food like cookies.

as a drug, marijuana is commonly divided 3 types; sativa, indica and hybrid. it depends on your mood which to consume of these three types. as the blief; sativa effects the mind, indica effects the body. hybrid is something in between but one of the feeling might be felt dominantly.

sativa is for the mood of physical activity, going out, dancing, working on creative projects. indica is for relaxing mood; mostly used before bed. don't ask for hybrid.

it is said, not difficult to notice if the weed is sativa or indica. you should check the stature and leaves. if the stature is long, leaves are narrow and has longer flowering cycles it should be sativa. as opposed to sativa, if the stature is short, leaves are wide and flowering cycle is shorter then it should be indica.
