Emotional intelligence
Mark 10: 2 And the Pharisees came and asked him, to tempt him, whether it was lawful for the husband to divorce his wife.
From time to time you would have pressed to give a response as in this case of Jesus where those who ask do so with the intention of ridiculing it and putting their reputation wrong.
The emotional intelligence consists of not being reactive before the harassment but patient and having self-control, evaluating and thinking carefully how a reckless response would affect. Do not fall into the terrain that the adversary wants, the word says: the soft response removes the anger, also adds, we all must be slow to speak, ready to hear and slow to be angry, this is emotional intelligence, the ability to control emotions and be absolved from the trap. Patient and reflective Jesus responds with a question with the intention that they themselves respond and thus not fall into their game.
Put this principle into practice, in the few words there is wisdom (proverbs 17:27) God will give you victory and not let you fall.
