It's the little things that matter

Can I just rant a little before I get to the main point of this post?

No replies? I take that as a yes then. Thank you

So, after tweezing my eyebrows myself for years, I tried waxing a few times but I would react to the wax and I switched to threading. Weeks after my first threading I went into Arndale shopping centre in Manchester to do some shopping and saw a brow shop, luckily my eyebrows was due for threading and went to this lady and said I wanted to re-carve my brows and boy did she mess it up, you know to the point of tears or almost tears and you ask yourself is it really worth crying over messed up brows you have been growing for months to get the desired shape. Well I complained and asked her to stop trying to fix it and just then another lady in the shop offered to try fix it, I didn't want her to as I thought what would she do after the first lady already messed it up. I eventually allowed her to do it and when she was done I looked in the mirror and was shocked! like I literally blushed to the point where I went proper red. She did it so perfectly I could hardly tell it was a mess few seconds ago, I thanked her and got her phone number as I definitely knew I had found my eye brow lady for life... Well maybe for few years lol until the next trend takes over. She continued to do my brows and it was my own way of relaxing as she enjoyed doing my brows 'her words not mine' Lol.

Few months before moving back to Nigeria, I sent her a text to book an appointment but didn't get any reply and after a few days I decided to do a walk in, when I got to the shop she wasn't in. I went back couple of times after that and kept getting told she wasn't available. Bearing in mind I wasn't letting anyone else touch my brows and I just went back to using my tweezer to make it look neat “I have some trust issues and stick to one person doing same thing for me, I know, thank you”. Anyways I eventually sent her a message on Facebook, yes our friendship grew that strong. Allow it! She replied, informing me she had travelled to India and won't be back for a while. I was heart broken! And knew I had to move on or not touch my eyebrows until Sandeep came back, that's her name by the way. I call her the Eyebrow Goddess.

I thought that was the struggle till I moved back to Nigeria and couldn’t find any good place to thread my brows, in other news I have been tweezing ever since but still need a good place in Lagos that threads not microblading or waxing, I’m willing to give it a shot even though they may not do it the way Sandeep does it. So announcement! If you are in Lagos and know a good eyebrow shop, please share the name or just maybe in Ibadan, anything can happen lol . Thank you in advance.

Apart from that every other thing is fine and in place.

Also, I’m sure you figured out where I ended the rant, I got carried away.

Have a good friday and a fun filled weeked wink, wink
