FML !! Mining bitcoin
Hi guys, about a week ago a started bitcoin mining on my gamer pc, i was so pumped up. I saw a video on youtube and started mining with NiceHash, i didnt know a lot a first so i keept the mining program running.
I was making +-1$ per day with electricity cost etc... I was calculating on the internet how much i will make in a week, a month.... BUTTTT i didnt put in the hashing power, i was on the default setting all this time........................
Today i saw a video where the guy was showing how to calculate profits and he changed the hashing power and so i also checked and did the changes i though it would not be a very big change but i realised that i was in 100% LOST !!!! FML.
Please guys give me upvotes i really need it....................
Mining with your own gear is hard and not easy these days. If you don't have that much money to afford better gear so you can make earning you can better buy coins and hodl them. Or go to trusted sites like for example Genesis Mining.
Yeah i'm watched some videos of youtuber who are making money with genesis mining i think it's a good idea and i'm also gonna try it
Mining bitcoin without an ASIC is pretty useless now! Try Ether instead, still should be profitable at 17 mh/s
Also, I doubt you are using 1000 W and only getting 17 mh/s! I power 2 separate 3 card rigs at a steady 850w
hmm i dont know how to calculate how much W i am using so i left it at default... And yes your right i'm gonna start mining Ethereum

STOPYou can try mining other coins like Zen. and remember the real value in mining is acquiring early and holding for when the price goes up, not in beating the cost of electricity
