SLC S22 Week 3 - Herbal Medicine for Men's Hormonal Health
I read your entire lesson and found it an important read for men's health. As I am interested in this branch of medicine, I have my own understanding about a few herbs for hormonal balance, which is very useful for our overall health.
We all know well that hormones play an important role in our physical development, and when it comes to hormonal imbalance, we can face different problems. I am not surprised to see so many common names in your list, as all these are available in my country, and most of them are within my easy reach.
In fact, we have a garden in our area that cultivates most of these herbs, although not all, for instance, saffron, but I have seen it's cultivated in one of the nearby states, Kashmir, that blooms just after the ice melts.

As you said, preparing an herbal tea to maintain prostate health is an effective remedy. Here I am presenting you one such tea that contains three herbs: ashwagandha, gokshura, and turmeric.
For that I take:
Ashwagandha: 1 tsp powder
Gokhuru scientific name Tribulus Terrestre: 1 tsp powder
Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
Water: 2 cups
Honey: According to taste (if you wish to change taste)
Lemon juice: 1 tsp (to increase taste but optional)
For this, I first put 2 cups of water in a pan and put it to boil, and then add all three herbs, ashwagandha, gokshura (or what we know as Gokhuru in our local dialect), and turmeric, and let it boil for 10-15 minutes. When it remains half, I filter it and pour it in a cup. Then I add 1 tsp honey and a little lemon juice so that the astringency is reduced, but that's your choice or depends on your health condition.
Now my herbal tea is ready.
Properties of the ingredients
As we all know, ashwagandha helps reduce stress and increase testosterone levels, which is important for prostate health.
Similarly, gokshura, or gokhru, is helpful in improving sexual health and reducing urinary problems. It also helps control the size of the prostate.
Turmeric has natural anti-inflammatory properties, which help reduce inflammation of the prostate gland.
Therefore I can vouch for the fact that consumption of this herbal tea regularly can help maintain prostate health.

The herbs I suggested Nutmeg, saffron, and shatavari have a bundle of positive effects on men, as all of these benefits help in improving mental and sexual health. For this we can use:

Method of preparing it:
First we put 2 cups of water in a vessel and let it boil, and then add these herbs, and when the water starts boiling, then add Ashwagandha, Gokshura, and chamomile and let the mixture boil for 10-15 minutes on medium flame. Then when half the water remains, filter it and pour it into a cup.
If we want to increase its taste, we can add honey and lemon juice.
As I mentioned earlier, Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that helps reduce stress and increase energy levels. It improves mental clarity and focus.
Gokshura helps in improving the sexual health of humans as well as increasing energy and stamina. It is also helpful in reducing stress.
Chamomile is a natural calming herb, which improves sleep and reduces anxiety in human beings.
If we use this herbal tea regularly, it will be helpful in reducing stress and increasing our vitality.
There are other herbs like Makardhwaj prescribed by herbalists that are helpful to male health, strength, and anti-ageing properties. Men use these herbs all over the world for rejuvenation and virility. For instance, ashwagandha, shatavari, safed musli, kaunch beej, akarkara, kesar, jaiphal, and other herbs promote hormonal balance, increase testosterone levels, increase physical performance, and increase vitality.
Let me share an incident at this point. Once while traveling in Anantnag district in Kashmir, I came across a saffron seller immediately after the ice started melting. One of my co-travellers warned me that most of these saffron are fake, but just a few are real, so always buy from the trusted sellers for the right effect.
