Is this a story you made up or can you provide sources?
I always thought it went something like this:
The details leading up to his death, however, are relatively consistent. After Hercules killed a centaur with a poison-tipped arrow, the dying creature told the demigod's wife, Deianeira, to keep some of the blood, saying that it was a powerful magic that would keep her husband faithful. Believing the centaur, she smeared it on one of Hercules' tunics when she thought he was straying. When he put it on, the poison coursed through his body, causing unbearable pain. According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica, the poison killed him, while About.com indicates that lightning delivered the final blow. Other versions assert that he perished in a fire.

www.reference.com and search "Hercules" for my source.

Multiple realities!

They both Happened!

I know it's a mythology but can you provide any sources for your "version of reality"?

Naw, literally none. There is no Ancient Text that will back this one up.

It's just a story that came outta my mind; an alternate to him being poisoned & Hera Forgiving and him Ascending.

At any point an entity makes a choice, or can possibly make a choice (ie, considers doing something) a very real dimension of reality opens up.

This is the one where Hercules considered challenging Hera.

This happened in a very, very, very tiny % of realities, in his defense..

Hey the story is pretty cool and there's absolutely nothing wrong with coming up with the story yourself, sure that's what they did in ancient times to start the myth of Hercules. :)
I was searching the internet for this take and couldn't find it anywhere haha
