Two great historic masterpieces of art are standing face to face!
Istanbul, largest and historic city of Turkey, contains a large number of historical monuments. Two of them are located in district of Beyoglu. They are Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet). Hagia Sophia was built by Byzantine Emperor Justinian I. between 532-537 and now serving as a museum. Blue Mosque was built by Ottoman Empire Sultan Sultan Ahmed I, between 1609-1617 and now serving as a mosque.
