The Queen Victoria 1 cent stamp was issued in July 1859, and was the first one cent Canadian Stamp. It came in 2 shades, Rose and Deep Rose.

There was 27,500,000 ordered. In very fine mint condition it can fetch as much as $600 ($475 US) or more, according to some catalogues.

The 5 Cent Beaver stamp was issued in July 1859. It came in 2 shades, Vermillion and Brownish Orange Red.

A total of 39,100,000 were ordered. In very fine mint condition, some catalogues value this stamp at $750 ($600 US) or more, depending on unique flaws and other irregularities.

5 Cent Beaver

The 10 Cent HRH Prince Albert stamp was also issued inJuly 1859. This stamp came in just one colour, and that was Black Brown or Chocolate Brown.

It is uncertain how many were ordered, but likely it was not an excessive amount, as they can fetch $20,000 ($16,000 US) or more, depending on different factors.

Wow! Stamps can worth quite a lot of money if we keep the right ones then. I have kept two albums of stamps.I was collecting when I was a kid and stop collecting ages ago. Perhaps there may be some that worth a bit more. Should get them evaluated one of these days. My older teenage son was eyeing on them. Thanks for posting this great info.
