A criminal series started - still known nowadays

Jack The Ripper - who has not heard about him? He was and still is famous criminal from the 19th century on London. On this day back in 1888 he started his mad murdering serie with Prostitute Mary Ann Nichols. She was the first known victim of the serial killer found murdered and mutilated in the city’s Whitechapel district. The City ondon found 4 more victims of the murderer during the next few months, but no suspect was ever found. The criminaml file was closed in 1892, with no leads found anymore.

Since then this case has inspired a lot books, novels and movies and still does.
