Hello appreciated steemians and community, today after a brief absence for the platform I return wishing you my best positive vibes to all and all. In this opportunity I am going to let you know some photographs and facts that take us back to the past of my country, facts that at some point were lived and took place in a colonial house located in the Trujillo state (Venezuela) and for the date it is a museum Allusive to the great historical events of the Independence of Venezuela.

This colonial house known today by many as the center of history was visited by the Liberator Simón Bolívar in 4 opportunities, in it were signed the Armistice Treaties and Regularization of the War, today we can say that this colonial house served for the War and for Peace, this has served in many years, to allow the Trujillanos and Venezuelans to conserve this space as a Patrimonial space product of which forged part of the indelible traces of Venezuelan independence history.
In 1963 it was declared a Historical Patrimony of the Nation due to the signing of the Proclamation of War to Death by the father of the country, such as Simón Bolívar Palacios. Also it was soothes of the federal telegraphs in years 40, likewise for the same year the first Ateneo of the Trujillo state was founded and second Ateneo of the Country.

Room where the Proclamation of War to Death was signed

The house gathers a great synthesis of what has been the history of Trujillo and of Venezuela, cataloged as an architectural jewel.

I begin my journey in the weapons room, which were used by some heroes of the Independence, here are observed firearms, as well as white weapons that belonged to soldiers who gave their lives to defend our homeland, these white weapons located in this beautiful place date from the XV - XVI - XVIII century are Swords and Sables of Honor of our worthy Generals of the Independence of Venezuela, an example the Saber of General Matías Espinoza and General Francisco Aguilar.
We can also observe firearms of different sizes and calibers, such as shotguns, rifles and rifles of the 19th century, as well as a pocket revolver of the same century, pistols and some cannonballs used during the war. Note that these weapons serve only as an exhibition for all visitors who wish to travel by means of these weapons to the past of our colonization.

We continue moving to the past of our history and we find excellent relics such as antique keys, ancient locks and other objects used in the period of independence, here we can also see protectors for the feet that were used for riding, were made of iron and some spurs of different sizes and models. Something that catches the attention of all visitors is a magnificent clock very old but with a presence that dazzles to stare at him, believe me that any collector of history would go mad with some of these relics, is still the first public telephone that arrived in Trujillo state , still retains a beautiful finish that leaves more than one amazed admiring such an apparatus.

In the armor room rests a war suit with their respective implements, this was used at the time of the bloody battles, likewise it shows a 15th century breastplate which if we detail it well in the photo, it is observed that it has a dent , perhaps caused by one of the combatant enemies, saving from death the person who carried it at the time.
As the Trujillo state is rooted in a lot of history due to the many battles that originated in it, for the time of the colony after all these battles were skulls, an example of the discovery of these skulls was in the well known Battle of Niquitao, called Batalla Campal de Niquitao, event occurred on July 2, 1813 during the Admirable Campaign. There are also some samples of the land where important battles took place, such as the Battle of Ayacucho and the Battle of Boyacá on August 7, 1819 for the freedom of Colombia. In all these battles obviously our Liberator Simón Bolívar participated.

The history of my state and my country continues and it is time to introduce them to some canes that belonged to Monseñores and other Próceres de la Independencia, specifically Trujillo men like Juan Bautista Carrillo Guerra, Antonio Nicolas Briceño and the writer and politician Mario Briceño Iragorry , all preserve a perfect state in the wood.
The coins and bills are displayed in a room where memories invade anyone who at some point in their lives had the pleasure of getting these coins and bills in their hands, bills and coins that were worth much more than the dollar , I tell you that neither the monetary reconversion of these times can overcome the strength of this colonial currency.

The music is present in this museum, remembering illustrious Trujillo musicians, here musical scores written by the maestro Laudelino Mejías who was the writer of the Trujillo State Anthem, the faithful instrument of the teacher is observed as was the clarinet, with which he composed musical works of great importance for the state and for the country.

Cuicas images and figures make this museum a special art, figures of animals and human figures made in various materials, commonly figures made with ceramics by our indigenous cultures, these cultures recreated their environment performing these strange but no less important figures . Predominant female figures, anthropomorphic figures ...

In conclusion the Trujillo state is known for its important history in the independence struggle, serving as the setting for many battles thanks to those heroes of the time who fought with honor to defend our rights and the beautiful homeland that we were born, are and will continue to be. free until the end of our existence.
