Prof. DR. H. Abdul leader Karim Amrullah, owner of the pseudonym Hamka (born in syllabic script Sungai Batang, Tanjung Raya, Agam District, West island, February seventeen, 1908 - died in Djakarta, July 24, 1981 at the age of 73) is associate degree Indonesian scholar and literary. He spent his time as a journalist, writer, and teacher. He plunged into politics through Masyumi till the party was dissolved, served as Chairman of the primary Indonesian, body Council (MUI), and was active in Muhammadiyah till the tip of his life. The University of al-Azhar and therefore the National University of Asian country awarded unearned doctorates, whereas Moestopo University, Jakarta, confirmed Hamka as a faculty member. His name is stapled to Muhammadiyah's Muhammadiyah University and listed within the National Heroes of country.
