In 1947, India gained independence. The creation of two new countries, India and Pakistan Pakistan is two parts East Pakistan and West Pakistan. The Pakistani ruling class suffered 23 years of rigorous torture. On 26 March 1971 Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman declared formal freedom.
