The Beginning of Earth's Life Comes from Planet Crash

***The massive collision phenomenon between Earth and the embryonic planet is similar to Mercury. The study is published in the journal Nature Geoscience, where Rajdeep Dasgupta and other team of scientists explain how carbon-based life thrives on Earth.

***In theory, most of the earth's carbon should boil in the early formation of planets or locked in the Earth's core. Scientists try to explain the origin of volatile elements such as carbon outside the nucleus, in the earth's mantle. Scientists create high-pressure conditions, high temperatures that exist deep within the Earth and other rocky planets. They pressed rocks with hydraulics that could simulate conditions 250 miles beneath the Earth's surface or on the boundary of a smaller planet-core mantle like Mercury.
